Today, we have a new post but this time we are going to talk about lilac pants. I have been looking forward to the perfect opportunity to styling this pants in different ways.
Lilac has definitely become my second favourite colour (of course pink is first)! Not many people would want to pull off wearing lilac pants, but because these are more of a work style, they can definitely easily be worn with timeless pieces.
Lilac is a pretty colour but it can be a little overwhelming to combine than you can think. Since lilac is a colour you would hardly find around. I opted for a semi formal pants that can be perfectly transitioned from casual to work look. Also show you 6 ways you can style lilac pants look.
Black looks great when combined with pretty colours – like lilac. Here I chose a black turtle neck crop top with back zip details. I threw on a sleeveless jacket and a pair of black sneakers for a more personal , playful and casual feel. For the work look, I pulled the pant up a little bit to cover up skin. I switched the shoes to leopard court heel which brought the business chic look together.
This is my favorite and the boldest of all. It’s a real stand out look, but I still think there is a balance between all these colours. Soft pastels combined with bright shades will level up any look. I chose this silk top because its super relaxed and the bold colours and hues of lilac easily match the lilac pants. I strategically skipped a button hole to give a fun look and finished the look with a pair of pointy pink mules with quirky heels. Whereas, for the work look I tucked the shirt, switched shoes to a leopard cort heel and black belt to cinch my waist
With Animal Prints
Animal print will never go out of style and the best thing is that it can look good with almost everything. It is also great to give a more edgy look to any look. Here I opted for an unusual type of animal print. Although I had in mind to opt for the familiar animal print that we all know but this one did the trick for me. It surprised me for how incredibly it goes with the lilac pants. I paired it with a mid heel square toe strap sandals and a black tie belt. For the work look, I ditched the belt and strap sandals. I tucked the shirt and paired the outfit with a block heel sling back shoes.
For the work look, I also retain the animal print shirt tucked in and switched the shoes to a black sling back block heel and tucked the shirt.
STYLE TIP: Like any outfit that’s based on a specific colour, you’ll want to avoid dressing in lilac from head-to-toe. Try and implement the colour into your ensemble with a single piece.
