Spread the love

Why spend so much on interior decor when you can create your own cosy space at low budget, diy (do it yourself), affordable furnishing? If you are in need of some new wall art then look no further! This gorgeous botanical diy fabric wall art that is super easy to make and inexpensive is the perfect DIY for your space.

I got bored of my old wall art – diy hanging flower vase that I made with plastic bottles and switched up the wall above my work desk using fabric, cardboard and a packaging box. Got a fabric, cardboard and a packaging box? Make a wall art and check out these simple steps.

How To Make A DIY Fabric Wall Art

To make this fabric wall art, follow this 4 steps. Here is what you will need:

  • fabric
  • packaging box ( I used indomie noodles packaging box)
  • cardboard
  • scissors
  • pen/marker
  • craft knife
  • glue
  • cellophane tape

Step 1

With a scissors, cut out the fabric, cardboard and packaging box into desired rectangle shapes. Make the fabric 2 inches bigger than the cardboard and packaging box.

Step 2

Wrap the fabric around the packaging box. Secure the edges with glue and tape with cellophane tape.

Step 3

Apply glue at the back (the other side of the packaging box that has not been covered with a fabric) and cover with cardboard.

Step 4

With a pen, mark a little circle for hanging and cut open with a craft knife.

Voila!!!
