I have always had it mind to make a DIY glass candleholder but I hardly have time these days to make anything. While I was away on my Dubai trip, my hands were itching me to make something and the first thing I did went I got back was to make the diy glass candleholder. You do know that anything I make, I either need it and making it is a cheaper option so I can spend money on things that really matter. I recently started buying scented candles and also intend to make mine. Before I make a scented candle, I need a candleholder first. In today’s post, I will be sharing simple steps to make your own glass candleholder.
What you will need:
- An empty glass jar.
- A lace trim
- A twine
- A pair of scissors
- A glue
Know the design you want. After testing, I already knew the design I wanted the diy candleholder to look like. I wound and cut the lace trim for the top, midsection and bottom of the glass jar. I trimmed the excess trimmings on the lace trim for the bottom.
Glue the lace trim at the top of the jar and wound the twine around the lace trim. Apply glue on the twine so it sticks to the lace trim.
Repeat the same step for the middle and bottom of the glass jar but tie a knot at the middle or you can skip tying a knot.
